Aims and Scope

The scientific journal Law. Human. Environment aims to advance legal scholarship by publishing research that explores the interconnection between the individual, society, and the natural environment within the legal framework. The journal serves as a platform for scholarly exchange, fostering innovative approaches to legal regulation and promoting a legal culture of sustainable development.

Starting from Issue 1, 2024, the Editorial Board has focused the journal’s scope on the following areas:

  • Environmental Law and Human Interaction with Nature – studies on the regulatory framework governing natural resource management, environmental protection, and ecological security at both national and international levels.
  • Human Rights and Constitutional Law – analysis of the mechanisms for the realisation and protection of human rights and freedoms, as well as the interrelation between international human rights law and national constitutional law.
  • Family and Inheritance Law – examination of legal issues influencing and shaping family relations in modern society, including matters of inheritance.
  • Labour Law and Social Security Law – research on key challenges in employment and social protection, with emphasis on the implementation of social human rights and regulation of working conditions.
  • Philosophy, Anthropology, and Theory of Law – exploration of methodological and conceptual foundations of legal science in the context of human existence, legalisation processes, and the impact of humanity on the natural environment.

The journal promotes an interdisciplinary approach, integrating theoretical and practical perspectives to enhance the understanding of legal mechanisms that underpin the balanced development of society and the environment.
