Terms of Publication

The journal Law. Human. Environment publishes original articles that highlight legal aspects of human life within the natural environment and society. Topics considered include:

  • Theory, philosophy, and anthropology of law;
  • Environmental law (international and national);
  • Human rights law;
  • Constitutional and civil law (family, inheritance, labor law).

Articles are accepted in English. Works translated automatically will not be considered. Changes to the authorship after submission are not allowed.

Articles must be formatted according to the requirements and sent to the email address lhe@environmentalscience.com.ua or through the submission form on the website. A separate file with author information (in both languages) must be included, along with the ORCID of each author.

File names must correspond to the author's surname. For example: Shevchenko_Article, Shevchenko_Information.

The manuscript goes through three stages of review: compliance with requirements, plagiarism check, and external peer review. If the article does not meet the requirements, the editorial board reserves the right not to consider it and will inform the author.

 

PUBLIC OFFER

FOR THE PROVISION OF PRE-PRESS SERVICES

1. General Provisions

1.1. This Public Offer (hereinafter referred to as the “Offer”) is addressed to an indefinite number of persons and establishes the terms and conditions for the provision of services by the Contractor.

1.2. Acceptance of the Offer (hereinafter — “Acceptance”) creates contractual relations between the Contractor and an individual or legal entity (hereinafter — the “Customer”) in accordance with Article 638 of the Civil Code of Ukraine.

1.3. By submitting Material, the Customer confirms their agreement with the terms of this Offer and the Privacy Policy, and undertakes to comply with them.

2. Definitions

2.1. Material — a scientific and/or other text submitted by the Customer.

2.2. Services — editing, pre-press preparation, electronic layout, placement on the journal’s website, and archiving.

2.3. Layout Approval — confirmation by the Editor-in-Chief of the final version of the issue layout.

3. Subject of the Agreement

3.1. The Contractor provides the Customer with Services for the preparation of the Material for publication, its placement on the journal’s website, and archiving.

3.2. Services are provided only after receiving all positive peer reviews confirming the possibility of publication.

4. Procedure for Concluding the Agreement (Acceptance)

4.1. The Agreement is concluded by accession.

4.2. Acceptance of the Offer is the first sending of the Material to the official email address of the editorial office.

4.3. Acceptance constitutes confirmation of the Customer’s full understanding and unconditional consent to the terms of the Offer.

5. Interaction and Obligations of the Parties

5.1. The Customer shall:

a) send the manuscript to the official email address of the editorial office;

b) upon request of the Contractor, provide information/materials and perform actions that the Contractor reasonably considers necessary for the proper execution of the order.

5.2. The Contractor shall accept the Material for processing on free basis and provide Services in accordance with the journal’s editorial policy.

6. Terms of Service

6.1. The Agreement enters into force upon the Customer’s acceptance of the Offer and remains valid until both Parties fully perform their obligations under it.

6.2. The Agreement may be terminated early by mutual consent of the Parties.

7. Personal Data

7.1. The Parties grant each other the right and consent to process personal data for an indefinite period in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”.

7.2. Use and dissemination of personal data shall be carried out only within the limits necessary to ensure the Parties’ activities, protect their interests, and perform this Agreement.

8. Liability and Dispute Resolution

8.1. The Parties shall bear responsibility for non-performance or improper performance of this Agreement in accordance with applicable Ukrainian law.

8.2. Disputes shall be resolved through negotiation; if no agreement is reached, the dispute shall be settled in court as prescribed by law.

9. Final Provisions

9.1. The Editorial Board may amend the text of this Offer; such amendments shall take effect upon publication on the website specified in Clause 1.3.

9.2. The invalidity of any provision of this Offer shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
