She was born on June 18, 1974, in the city of Mykolaiv, Lviv region.
She is a journalist (speciality “Radio Journalism”) and a lawyer (speciality “Jurisprudence”).
Her type of occupation is organization of scientific and research activities of a higher education institution; scientific and pedagogical activity.
In 1996, she graduated with honours from the Faculty of Journalism of the Ivan Franko Lviv State (now National) University; in 2007, she graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs.
In 2007, she defended her PhD thesis “Verbal Behaviourism in the Activities of Internal Affairs Bodies: Philosophical and Legal Aspects” in the speciality12.00.12 – Philosophy of Law.
In 2011, she was awarded the academic title of associate professor (docent) of the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law of the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs.
In 2013, she defended her doctoral dissertation “Semiotics of Law as a Philosophical-Legal Paradigm” in the speciality 12.00.12 – Philosophy of Law.
In 2016, he was awarded the academic title of professor of the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law of the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs.
From 1995 to 2016, she served in the internal affairs bodies and the National Police of Ukraine (she retired from service with the rank of police colonel).
She started her service at the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs in 1995 as a researcher; since June 2006 – she has been a professor, a docent of the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law; since May 2010 – she has been the head of the department for the organization of scientific work, in 2010-2011 – she has been concurrently performed the duties of vice-rector for scientific work; since June 2012 – she has been the professor of the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law (part-time); since December 2015 – she has been the vice-rector for scientific work.
The main areas of scientific research are philosophy of law, methodology of law, semiotics of law, philosophy of communicative studies, theory of the state and law.
Author and co-author: 7 monographs; more than 40 titles of educational and methodical literature, including 8 manuals; almost 100 articles in specialized scientific publications; more than 100 tests at scientific and practical events; more than 100 reviews and feedback on scientific and educational works.
Academic supervisor of applicants, who defended scientific works: 1 doctor of legal sciences, 5 candidates of legal sciences and 1 doctor of philosophy in the field of law.
She is the full member of the International Academy of Informatics (presidium decision, protocol No. 017/2018 of April 12, 2018).
She is the academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine (department of law, diploma series GO No. 153-19 dated 14.12.2019).
She is the official representative and coordinator of international educational and scientific grant activities of the Public Organization “International Foundation of Educators and Scientists” together with the Research Institute of the Lublin Science and Technology Park (October 2, 2020, Lublin, Republic of Poland; Kyiv, Ukraine. Certificate No. IES0001/2007 from 27.07.2020).
She is the expert of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education in the Field of Law.
She is the member of the public organization “Ukrainian Association of Representatives of Law Enforcement Bodies”.
She is the editor-in-chief of the scientific-analytical journal “Social and Legal Studies” (category “B” in the fields of law, law enforcement, economy, finance, banking and insurance, management, psychology).
She is the member of the editorial board of the magazine “Actual problems of legal science” (collection of scientific works of the Western Ukrainian National University; category “B” in legal sciences in the field of “Law”).
She is the member of the editorial board of the scientific journal “European Science of the Future and Security” (Scientific journal “European Science of the Future and Security” (SJ ESFS) is an international peer-reviewed journal published by the International Foundation of Educators and Scientists.

She has repeatedly received awards from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, local authorities and university management for many years of conscientious work, high professionalism, significant achievements in scientific and scientific-pedagogical activities, a significant personal contribution to the implementation of the legal policy of the state and the affirmation of the principle of the rule of law. In particular, she was awarded the badges “For distinguished service” of the 1st and 2nd degrees, the medal “For conscientious service” of the 2nd and 3rd degrees, commemorative medals and certificates of honour of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the badge of honour of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the badge “For safety of the people”, with certificates of honour and gratitude from the Lviv regional administration, Lviv regional and city councils, etc.
In 2010, she received the blessing of God from His Eminence, the head of the Department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church for Pastoral Affairs of the Security Forces of Ukraine for merits in cooperation with the Church for the revival of the sacred traditions of Christianity in the Ukrainian security forces in the spirit of Christian love for God and Ukraine, as well as she was awarded the Order of St. Barbara for outstanding personal merits in the field of education and social activities, with the blessing of the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
