The article deals with the scientific-theoretical analysis of the legislation governing the provision of services in the field of rural green tourism by the persons conducting the private peasant farms. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of legal regulation of services for temporary accommodation (residence) and catering (feeding) for tourists. It is noted that in order to promote the development of rural green tourism and to attract the owners of private peasant farms to such activities, clear criteria should be established at the legislative level for differentiation between entrepreneurial and non-entrepreneurial activities in this field. In addition, it is necessary to introduce in the local self-government bodies the registration of persons providing rural green tourism services, which will allow to legalize the specified type of activity. Attention is drawn to the fact that a written agreement is signed between the owners of the accommodation facilities and the tourists for the provision of temporary accommodation services. It can be considered concluded from the moment of receipt of confirmation of the person providing the placement services (contractor), that the order has been accepted and an indication of the possible start of provision of such service from a certain time. In order to streamline and facilitate such activities, it is advisable to develop an appropriate form of agreements for the provision of services in the field of rural green tourism. The problem of legal regulation of registration of capacities for the production and / or circulation of food products by tourists catering is raised. The author concludes that the provisions of the Law of Ukraine «On Basic Principles and Requirements for Food Safety and Quality» regarding the registration of such facilities do not apply to the owners of private peasant farms.
